I Think I've Lost my Muse

I doubt anyone has noticed but my pace of posting has slowed drastically.

I don't feel all that connected anymore. First I lost the trailer due to electrical problems, as a result I moved to "Kenyya". I hope to reenter the trailer soon. I've also have been preoccupied with other stuff.

How one can "Lose your Muse" in New Orleans is a little difficult to understand. All you need is a street map to find Calliope (Chief of the muses and muse of epic poetry), Euterpe (muse of lyric song), Clio (muse of history), Erato (muse of erotic poetry), Melpomene (muse of tragedy), Polyhymnia (muse of sacred song), Terpsichore (muse of dance),Thalia (muse of comedy and bucolic poetry) and Urania (muse of astronomy).

I guess since things here in New Orleans have reached a sort of steady state, neither getting worse nor getting much better, there is little to new respond to. We're even getting used to the periodic Nagin eruptions.

Everyone deals with what they've gotta deal with, in their own time and in their own way. Just come on over to GD III and stuff yourself. Don't be a total stranger...just take some time.

The net ain't goin' nowhere...

I, for one, am honored to follow where you have gone and read your comments. Clear insights, gentle patience, and sharp observations. Do what you need to do. But we'll miss you.

Thank you for the kind words.

I'm not planning on going anywhere. I just now seem to have hit a dry spell. I feel like I should be doing more but don't know quite what to do exactly.

Go take a day at the beach. I got recharged after visiting Gulf Shores this weekend.

I just found your blog-very interesting read so far. I think everyone goes through blog posting slumps & bad cases of the "I don't wanna's". Next thing you know you'll post everyday for amonth. It comes in spurts I believe.

I'm having the same problem. I can't seem to eek out a decent post to save my life (and I'm not even in NOLA - or its surrounds). Maybe it's winter doldrums and as spring evolves, we'll get better? Anyway, looking forward to seein' y'all Saturday night. :)
